Kent currently represents small, mid-size and large private companies and their management and owners in a broad range of business matters, including company formations, sale of business transactions, software and other intellectual property development and licensing agreements, funding transactions, consulting and employment agreements, financing transactions and financial services agreements, premises leases and other leasing agreements, corporate governance and employee matters, and preparation and negotiation of various legal documents for a wide variety of other business transactions and situations.
Kent also provides general business counseling and legal documents to his clients for their everyday legal needs, including patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret guidance and licensing agreements, employee relations advice, customer and supplier/vendor contracts, reseller agreements, sales representative agreements, non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements, website terms of use and privacy policies, terms and conditions of purchase and sale, manufacturing agreements, distribution agreements, and other key business contracts.
Kent also focuses on technology and space industry company clients and has represented computer software developers and hardware manufacturers, satellite and space flight service providers, cloud-based services companies, telecommunications companies, technology and space industry consulting firms, and many other companies in a broad range of industries. He has extensive experience drafting and negotiating commercial transactions, particularly in the software services and space services industries, and has negotiated and drafted major transactional agreements, teaming agreements, licensing agreements, product development agreements, master services agreements, space flight services agreements and other strategic partnering agreements worldwide, including multi-year licensing arrangements and other business alliance and services agreements and transactions with Google, SpaceX, Ball Aerospace, Apple, Microsoft, Boeing Space Systems, NASA, DigitalGlobe, OneWeb, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin and other Fortune 500 companies and major corporations.
